GpN and Kart boy

Finally got the GroupN transmission mount. Had a few free minutes Sunday so I installed that and a set of Kartboy shifter bushings. The rear bushing is a bit of a PITA to install. No pics, not much to see anyway...

GroupN Mounts and ARP studs

Got the GroupN engine mounts installed. Waiting on shifter bushings and the trans mount to finish up. They look just like the stock ones but they are quite a bit stiffer.

Also installed some ARP studs and some long open ended nuts. Last time a Thunder a lug bit the dust so I figured might as well fix it properly.

The ball nose helps to get the lug nuts started:

Battery and Washer

But it takes up the space where I want my oil cooler to sit

This is a stock hold down with modified OE j-hooks



Adhesive backed .250" rubber pad provides a no slip base for the battery

Ohlins DFVs

So my Ohlins DFVs showed up today. I wasn't super thrilled with Ohlin's selection on rear springs. The fronts are 500# which is great but the rears are only 400#. With the 3rd gen suspension motion ratios and my prior experience with 400/500# springs on the WRX I knew I wasn't going to like that. So I went with custom valving on the rear for 600# springs!

No need to replace it
